1/25/2024 0 Comments Roblox jailbreak hack clientAnd as for x-ray hacks? Useless, because I’d make avatars not render behind walls, not even if the wall was somehow invisible. Sure, they could send in whatever client-side data they want, but all the exploitable stuff would be cross-checked against server-side data and what could be possible. A lot of the hack detection would also be nested in other innocent looking, vital-to-the-game scripts, to hide it further and prevent them from completely disabling those scripts. And besides, all hack detection would be server-side, with some fake hack detection client side, to catch dumb hackers that don’t look at all the code. You do know that I’d also include normal hack detection too, right? Plus I’d also add some additional hack detection such as looking for over-clocked fire-rates, buffed damage, auto-aim (it would detect if their aim snapped to place, always pointing at the spot on the target, though it could be triggered by normal players who are really good, so instead of immediately triggering countermeasures it would just lower the requirements to trigger other hack detection things), flying, etc. I prefer to actually focus on game security and attending to my legitimate audience than set aside time to mock exploiters. I’ve said my piece and think this is a waste of time, so we’ll have to agree to disagree about how we see the usefulness method of “dealing” with exploiters. Feel free to deduct nonexistent currency from their account or do something they don’t care about. Exactly what can you do to them that they actually care about? Rhetorical question: it’s an account intended for exploiting. Again: exploiters are most likely using sock puppet accounts. Random events, irrespective of they are, are mostly all still trivial for exploiters. Sure, exploiters are pesky fellas who ruin fun, but if your game’s big then you have a much bigger audience to serve fun to. It’s negative attention but still attention and that’s what they’re looking for.Īgain, still speaking all in my own personal opinion, but I find that a vengeful mindset is not productive or healthy to harbour because it detracts from more valuable activities you can be putting your focus on. The main point of my response is that your time is better spent actually mitigating exploiting, not using it as an excuse to put them on a pedestal. I didn’t imply that a developer’s ability to improve their infrastructure would be hampered by relatively silly methods of dealing with exploiters. If necessary I could remove (most of) the public shaming, then I’d be almost completely safe from any possible bullying/harassment reports. Besides, exploiters usually do it to ruin other people’s fun, so why not ruin their fun? It wouldn’t technically be bullying, it would just be a really frustratingly bad game for them. And, since exploiters normally just use alts, letting them ban evade and stuff, but this way the game sucks for them, instead of dealing with evadable bans. And besides, if the game was hacked, it wouldn’t technically be the same game anyway. Would I be allowed to do this or could the game be reported for harassment? The reason I ask this is because while yes, it could qualify as harassment, the game would have been hacked, which would be the only way to trigger the anti-hack system, meaning you would not encounter it in normal gameplay. In this case, I’m also going to have something to shame hackers, similar to the hacker cage in jailbreak, where it publicly shames them (it won’t be a cage, but it will be some form of public shaming). For example, bringing their fire rate to 1 shot/second for rapid fire things, 1 damage for things like snipers or rpgs. So, I’m getting ready to get the funds to hire people for a new shooter-tycoon(sorta)-dogfight game (will be called Fracture: Total Warfare), and I thought of an idea a couple of non-roblox games have used: instead of banning hackers, the game would make it as aggravating and hard to play as possible, while still being the same game and being technically playable.
